Description

These watches were the first ever electronic watches. The tuning fork was powered by a one-transistor electronic oscillator circuit, so the Accutron qualifies as the first “electronic watch.

This Bulova watch is in superb condition. The case is stainless steel with acrylic crystal marked with the Accutron logo and minute chapter ring. The electronic calibre 214 tuning fork movement can be seen through the crystal hence the name ‘Spaceview’. The watch doesn’t have a crown, the time is set using a neat flip down lever on the caseback.

This watch has undergone a complete restoration, it is fitted with a genuine leather green croc strap. It comes with one of our boxes and our 2 year guarantee.
